Hi: We are on the way to Nagasaki, Japan and I need to write about Papau, New Guinea and Saipan in the next day or two.
In the meantime: what do Scots do on real cold nights? The answer is they huddle together around a candle. What do Scots do or really, really cold nights? They light the candle!
Aah, British humor at the halfway point.
Till next time

And here all you have missed is a horrid winter storm. It looks so WARM in Australia and I love the picture of Sandy and Kanga - or was that Roo? We got 6 1/2 to 7 inches of SNOW yesterday. Excuse me....in Watkinsville, Georgia!! Crazy. It is headed up north and they are forcasting up to a foot or more in DC and Boston. Be glad you are on the other side of the world!! A few pics of Anna at my livejournal blog!
just click on the mylife1060 and it should take you to my blog OR http://mylife1060.livejournal.com
I've enjoyed reading about Australia. It has been many years since my trip with solar car, but it sounds much the same. I recalled how it was 30-40 years behind the states in many ways, our time on great barrier reef and in Sidney. Also really loved Adelaide, much like northern CA.
I was so sorry not to have heard you when you called. I'm not sure if you could hear me, but they released me from the hospital. Still on bed rest and taking meds to reduce the contractions, but it is great to be home. I LOVED being here for the snow. So much fun to hear first hand of the sledding, snow fights, snow castles first hand, and especially the cuddle when Ryan returned wet and cold. And so beautiful.
I have dr appt this morning. Expect they will tell me one more week of bed rest then will let me move around and let things progress naturally. If that is the case, we'll probably spend weekend with Schuyler's cousin just in case something happens quickly. I hope to have a few days to walk around and enjoy before Sophie arrives.
Love and kisses,
Tracy
